display colour calibration not working

When I try to go into display colour calibration, it does not work when I try to adjust anything, the gamma or contrast or brightness, I move the sliders up/down and it doesn't change anything.

I'm on a fresh install windows 10 22H2, fully updated with the latest display drivers (nvidia).

Is there a fix for this? I suspect something to do with permission but no clue how to solve it, I am an admin though.

Ah nevermind, I figured out the reason, it was due to my nvidia drivers overriding it, had to disable the "override to reference mode" to get it to work.

Hi there, I'm John D, and I am an independent advisor.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your display color calibration. As an independent advisor, I understand how frustrating it can be when technology doesn't work as expected. I'm here to help you get this issue resolved quickly.

Based on the details you've provided, it seems like there might be an issue with the display settings or drivers. But don't worry, we can try a few things to fix this.

Firstly, you could try running the display calibration tool as an administrator. If that doesn't work, resetting the display settings to their default values before attempting to calibrate the colors might help. Also, check if there are any third-party applications that might be interfering with the display calibration process.

If none of these solutions work, reinstalling or updating the display drivers might be the solution.

I understand that it can be frustrating when you have to deal with technical issues on your own. If the issue still persists after trying these solutions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

    Warm regards,

    John D.
