Hi Demetrios,
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
When you add a school account to your PC for installation of software like Microsoft 365 and to access the school domain that means they can access your data stored on their domain using that school login details, they do not have access to your laptop or to the data you store on your private laptop or to your browsing history, that is just not true, they cannot monitor or track your day to day activity on your laptop, that is private to you and no one else.
Hello David:
So when you say the can access you data stores on their domain using the school l Login details, what does that mean.? So, if you tried to be dishonest while taking an exam, by looking up information while taking the test, can't they see where you went to look up that information to use on that test? Or is the only way they could do that is if you had to install some Proctor monitoring software, or browser that they have to make you install?
last questions I have is in regard to how I set up my School profile, did I set it up correctly meaning that it doesn't share my regular Microsoft account? as mentioned above, I don't want them to know what I do or where I go in general.
See it look like in the screen shot below that my school acct is tied to my Microsoft acct? Or am I not, correct? If it is tied into my acct is there a way to keep it separate? Or if I can remove it and just when I have to log into my school's system i just log in via a web browser like I usually do.
I just want the most privacy and security.
