This does not work.
how to permanently disable Num lock?
Hi,
I have an acer laptop, with a row of numbers above the letters, and also, if I engage num lock there is number pad type layout on the right-hand side of the letters on the keyboard. for my bookkeeping I need easy access to numbers and letters simultaneously.
I have purchased a Microsoft Bluetooth number pad hoping to be able to use my preferred layout of numbers (like a calculator), and while still having access to qwerty keyboard letters also. however, every time I use the numpad it automatically turns on num lock for the laptop keyboard, so have to unlock to use my keyboard properly.
is there a way to keep the Num lock permanently off so I can use the numpad without it interfering with the letters on the keyboard please?
thank you. Mel
