This valentine's day I was meet with an unpleasant surprise. I was downloading a game and needed to free up space so I deleted other programs I did not need. I had left the game downloading while I showered. I came back to a black screen. I didn't think much of it because my pc always acted weird (don't know it this is a problem). They next day I turned it on and was meet with the Blue error screen. I have tried everything that people have recommended me and can't seem to get it fixed. Does anyone have any idea what I need to do?

Try the code below. You will want to keep your files. You will need to reinstall your apps and programs but many will be in the Microsoft Store.

    systemreset -factoryreset

It unfortunately didn't seem to work. I was able to complete the whole process but when I restarted my computer the error screen appeared again.

Hear are a few scans you can try to see if this will fix the problem.

Please hold down the shift key on your keyboard and click the restart option on your screen. (Do not release the SHIFT key)

You will see the Choose an option screen: Click Troubleshooting,

    click Advanced Options

    Command prompt, type

    net user administrator /active:yes

    and press enter

Copy and pastes the following code on the screen.

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit enter.

On the same page run the two scans below.

    sfc /scannow

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

Then restart the computer and see if it fixes it.

    Thank you so much Cindy!

I have tried restarting my computer, resetting my PC, the system restore (Doesn't have one to restore back too. It did but the one day it wasn't there anymore). Along with that I've tried the safe mode, startup repair and I also tried to uninstall updates. Finally, I've tried multiple command prompts that either seem to do nothing or I can't get the same results as the tutorials I have seen. The one thing I haven't tried is to install windows on a separate drive as I don't have one.
