Hi,

Previously I'm using windows 10 and wake on lan works fine. But last year I do a in place upgrade to windows 11, then wake on lan never works again.

I tried all steps I found from internet, nothing helps.

Is there something changed in windows 11? and how could I bring WOL back to my PC?

thanks!

    Thanks very much for the info, Issue solved.

    To anyone has the same problem:

    After updated the driver to lasted version, I found that there is a new entry in network adapter properties:

    Wake on magic packet when system...... enable this setting then WOL works again!

    Hello LuizScruz,

    Thanks for your reply. However, it doesn't work. "RX and TX enabled" is the default setting on my network adapter for both UDP & TCP Checksum Offload (IPv4)

    Other settings currently set on my PC (they work when it's win10 but not now in win11):

    Disabled fast startup.

    Network adapter properties (Realtec PCIe GbE Family Controller) :

    * Power Management tab, all check boxes are checked.

    * Advanced tab,

     - "Shutdown Wake-On-Lan": enabled.

     - "Wake on Magic Packet": enabled.

     - "Wake on patten match": enabled.

     - "WOL & Shutdown link speed": 10Mbps first

    Wake on lan enabled in BIOS.

    anything else is required in win 11?

    thanks!

    Hello xianhua李, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that you want to enable Wake on Lan in Windows 11;

    Right-click on the start menu and go to Device Manager;

    Click (>) Network adapters to expand the section;

    Click on the Advanced tab;

    In Property, select the option "UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4)";

    In Value, select the option "RX and TX enabled";

    Click OK;

    Wake on lan must be enabled;

    Hope this helps, see you soon!
