Wifi connection constantly times out.

My PC started to constantly timeout from its wifi connection a few days ago, these timeouts on average happen every ~35 seconds.

I already ran Network Reset and also tried to restart my router. This issue does not happen on any other device that I have connected to that internet.
Needless to say, this has made it incredibly frustrating to use basically anything that requires an online connection.

    Hi David,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

    1. Run Troubleshooter

    Open Settings => System => Troubleshoot => Other troubleshooters =>Internet Connection/Network Adapterv=> Run.

    1. Update or Rollback the WIFI driver in the Device Manager.

Open Device Manager >> click Network Adapters >> right- click your WIFI driver >> click Update Driver.

If the system says that you have the latest driver installed. Try to Roll back the driver. Right-click your WIFI driver >> click Properties >> click Driver tab >> click Roll back driver.

    1. Uninstall the currently installed WIFI driver then download and install the available driver from the PC manufacturer's website.(You might need to use a different device with an internet connection to download the driver.)

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

Hello Paul, thank you for your swift response.

    I've attempted your recommended steps.

    1. Run Troubleshooter
I've attempted this and it found no issues.
    2. Update or Rollback the WIFI driver in the Device Manager.
I've followed the steps and both options are not available, they're greyed out.
    3. Uninstall the currently installed WIFI driver than download and install the available driver from the PC manufacturer's website.
      This one fixed it. Thanks!

By default win11 update does not auto install Optional updates that includes drivers, but only win critical updates

See your laptop makers support to update both bios and ALL drivers

There should be a shortcut to that makers update utility on your system

    After this what then?
