    I have also been having this problem for almost a year now. I took my laptop (Asus Tuf A15) to a technician two times and they could not fix the problem, it would work at first but after 2 or 3 days the wifi would completely disappear from my taskbar and from my settings.

    Not even restarting my laptop works anymore, I have to do complete network resets, each time waiting 5 minutes for it to reset. This issue is really getting on my nerves. I have classes to attend online and I can't with my laptop randomly shutting down its wifi and vanishing every 15-30 minutes ish. its very random but it rarely ever lasts me an hour.

    Will this bug ever fix?? It has become so incredibly annoying and frustrating that it makes me so unbelievably angry. I cant even sell this laptop if I wanted to because of the network problem.

    You bet. The armory crate is ASUS's software attempt to manage settings and basically communicates with the motherboard to monitor and adjust settings (usually in relation to things gamers like to do). Each manufacturer has something like this. Most the time it is unnecessary and considered bloatware by a lot of gamers. I don't think there is anything in it that should cause the wifi problem. But as I was trying to deal with the WiFi driver vanishing on my sons new Asus Tuf A16, I came across mention that someone else (whose system was similar to yours) found that when they uninstalled the armory crate it fixed their WIFI problem too. It's actually pretty rare that the hardware just fails - most the time, something like this is usually because windows is convinced it has been turned off or removed. Hopefully the armory removal works :)

    Thanks for the clarification.

    When the problem occurs, check the Device Status of the Wi-Fi adapter in Device Manager.

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Device Manager";
    2. Click on the "View" menu and select "Show hidden devices";
    3. Expand "Network adapters";
    4. If the Wi-Fi adapter is listed, right-click and select "Properties". Check if there is an error in "Device Status".

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    I suggest doing the following:

    Check the Wi-Fi adapter power settings.

    1. Open "Device Manager" (Windows + X and select Device Manager);
    2. Expand "Network adapters";
    3. Right-click on the Wi-Fi adapter and select "Properties";

    (It may have more than one adapter. If you don't identify the correct one, send a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool)

    1. Go to the "Power Management" tab
    2. Uncheck the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power";
    3. Click Ok.

    See if the issue is resolved.

    If it persists, reset the network settings as instructed below:

    1. Press "Windows + I" and select "Network & Internet > Advanced network settings";
    2. Select "Network Reset";
    3. Select "Reset Now", and at the confirmation screen, select "Yes";

    Note: The PC will need to be restarted.

    1. Now open Start and type cmd;
    2. Right-click on "Command Prompt" in the result list and select "Run as administrator";
    3. At the Command Prompt, type the following commands one at a time and press Enter:

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh winsock reset

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    1. Restart your PC and see if the issue is resolved.

    If it persists, reinstall the Wi-Fi driver as instructed below:

    Before starting the procedure, go to the support area of your computer manufacturer's website and download the latest Wi-Fi driver.

    (If you cannot find it, let me know the manufacturer and model of your computer)

    Uninstall the current driver:

    1. Open "Device Manager" (Windows + X and select Device Manager);
    2. Expand "Network adapters";
    3. Right-click on the Wi-Fi adapter and select "Uninstall device";
    4. On the confirmation screen, check "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" and click "Ok";
    5. Restart the PC.

    Install the driver you downloaded from the manufacturer.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.
