Receiving winmail.dat attachments instead of PDF

Hello, I am receiving winmail.dat attachments from 3 out of 4 people from the same office. They should be in PDF but instead are coming in as winmail.dat. Meanwhile I have them send it to my gf on her email and she receives them in PDF version.

    Are you using Thunderbird? If yes, this is a normal problem, this happens when the sender using Outlook attaches an entire email instead of attaching only the file. For Thunderbird, there is an add-on called LookOut that is able to decode the winmail.dat and display the original attachments in Thunderbird's message pane.
