I tried to pair my headset jabra elite 65T to my Dell computer running with windows 10

Unfortunately it seems that whatever I do, my headset is systematically detected as a headphone by windows

when I go into control panel --> sound. I am able to connect to the headphone icon.

But I cannot connect to the headset icone despite this one being activated.

The microphone does not show up in any application (teams or other).

I tried to look for solutions on various forum but I was not able to solve the issue

Could use some help

thank you

Rgds

    Hi Kelly

    Thanks for helping.

I tried all the above withous success. still the same issue

The only thing I was unable to try is this "Try disabling the Hands-free AG Audio profile. In the Sound settings of your computer, right-click on the Jabra Elite 65T and select Properties. Go to the Services tab and uncheck the Hands-free AG Audio profile. Click Apply and then OK."

As i could not find it. But i doubt this will help

If you were unable to find the Hands-free AG Audio profile in the sound settings, it's possible that your computer or audio device does not support this feature. In that case, disabling it would not be applicable.

Since you have tried all the other solutions, it's possible that there may be a hardware issue with either the Jabra Elite 65T headset or your computer's Bluetooth adapter. You could try testing the headset on a different computer or testing a different Bluetooth device on your computer to see if the issue persists.

If the problem persists, you may need to contact Jabra support or your computer manufacturer's support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or advise you on any necessary repairs or replacements.

Hi, my name is Kelly, and I'm an independent consultant and I'm here to help.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the issue:

Unpair and pair the Jabra Elite 65T again. Go to your computer's Bluetooth settings, and remove the Jabra Elite 65T from the list of paired devices. Then, put your headset in pairing mode and try pairing it again.

Update your Bluetooth drivers. Go to your computer manufacturer's website or the Bluetooth adapter manufacturer's website to download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers.

Try disabling the Hands-free AG Audio profile. In the Sound settings of your computer, right-click on the Jabra Elite 65T and select Properties. Go to the Services tab and uncheck the Hands-free AG Audio profile. Click Apply and then OK.

Check the default audio device settings. In the Sound settings of your computer, make sure that the Jabra Elite 65T is set as the default playback and recording device. Right-click on the Jabra Elite 65T and select Set as Default Device.

Try resetting the Jabra Elite 65T. Put your headset in pairing mode, then press and hold the button on the headset until the LED flashes purple.

Check for firmware updates for the Jabra Elite 65T. Go to the Jabra website and download the Jabra Direct software. Connect your headset to your computer and run the Jabra Direct software to check for firmware updates.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue. Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
