How do i fix high memory usage?

I don't why my memory usage is so high, my disk usage also tends to spike

    That really depends on what type of games you play. But say for example you just play valorant or CSGO, 8GB ram is still ok. But I would suggest still replacing that with an SSD. HDD is too slow

    How do I know which one to get? Or is there a specific ssd/hdd drive that’s cheap I could use for my Dell Inspiron 24 3455

    I have 8GB ram as well. Idle without apps opened I get 60%+ usage, when browsers and other apps are opened 85%+ to 90%. I think what you are seeing with your RAM usage is normal. 8GB RAM now isn't like the old days, with apps, especially browsers, they're known to notoriously use RAM in exchange for all the features it has. To be honest the only option I see is to upgrade RAM sticks.

    Regarding your Disk, if you are still using HDD, and you're experiencing sluggishness from time to time. Try to defrag it, you can search that in your Start Menu (Win + Q) and look for "Defragment and Optimize Drives". If that HDD keeps staying at 100% disk usage, that's also a sign of a dying HDD. You may want to consider upgrading to SSD, if this is your case.

    i don't know if my device ID is important , I just restarted my pc so it might seem lower but usually my memory usage is high like the first screenshot i showedImage
