Good day Alan, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. You can try this, open Windows Media Player and open the WMA file that needs be converted and then select the 'Organize' option on the top bar and then click 'Options' and then followed by 'Rip Music' and from there you can choose where you save the file to and after that you need to select 'MP3' in the 'Format' section which is under 'Rip settings'.

    Regards,

    Paul R.

    Hello Alan,

I don't know if such plug-ins for Windows Media Player exist, but you could try searching for wma-to-mp3 convertors. One such is:

Free WMA to MP3 Converter - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download

    Regards,

I tried this and it worked perfectly. Strangely, in my 2021 Subaru, the files on the USB stick automatically sorted alphabetically even though they were numbered. In a 2015 Toyota Camry, they sorted in numerical order, the same as on the original CD I ripped from.
