Hello,
Thank you for the reply.
I have also tried those ways. I’ve tried a few ways just can’t remember exactly which ones but I have done the power saving one and the uninstalling way too neither worked.

I play controller on a couple of games. I usually connect via cable using xbox controller and recently hyperX controller. I ended up buying two new controllers and connected using the xbox wireless adapter (which i've used in the past without issue). Both controllers are connecting but not working in games. I tried connecting via cable same issue. I then tried to use my old controllers The hyperX included and same issue not working. I have updated windows, Checked for updates for drivers and troubleshooted. So far i've found one way to fix this issue but it goes out the window as soon as i turn off my PC, which i do every night.
Thing i've found that has worked:
I go into device manager, then go down to xbox 360 Peripherals and update xbox 360 controller for windows. ( it's an xbox one controller but idk why its coming up as that) when i click update driver i then go to browse my computer for drivers then click let me pick from list of availble drivers on my computer. I then select the only one there which is xbox 360 one.
I then get told to restart my Pc and then it will be working ( sometimes i do have to do it a few times before it will work) but it will only work for 1 controller.
after i turn off my pc I have to do it all over again.
HOW DO I FIX THIS COS IT'S LOW KEEEEY ANNOYING ME.

Hi Sharni,
Thank you for letting me know that you've already tried the suggestions I provided, I'm sorry to hear that these steps didn't help to resolve the issue.
In that case, it may be worth trying some additional troubleshooting steps, such as updating your system BIOS or resetting your PC to its default settings. However, please keep in mind that resetting your PC will erase all your personal files and apps, so be sure to back up your important data before proceeding with this step.
If you prefer not to perform these steps yourself, you could also consider taking your computer to a professional technician who can help you diagnose and fix the issue.
I hope these suggestions help, and please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards,
John D.

Hi Sharmi, I'm John D, and I am happy to help you with this.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your controllers not working in games, despite being connected. Based on what you've shared, you've tried troubleshooting steps like updating drivers and connecting via cable, but the issue persists.
One suggestion I have is to check your computer's power settings. Sometimes, power-saving settings can interfere with USB ports, which could cause the controller to malfunction. You could try disabling the power-saving feature for the USB root hub in the device manager to see if this helps.
Another suggestion would be to try reinstalling the drivers for your controllers. You could do this by completely uninstalling the drivers from the device manager and then reinstalling them.
I hope these suggestions are helpful in resolving your issue. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards,
John D.
