    Hi countrygirl31259,

Thanks for the response, just to check, were you able to set the accent color to "Manual"?

    Regards,

    Christine

I tried that and changed it to dark and then I was able to change it but when I changed it back to light it changed back.

And funny. Before you responded my task bar is green But I can't keep it like that. I like the green.

    Hi countrygirl31259

I'm Christine, a Windows user like you. I'll do my best to help you.

Looks like the color of your taskbar was changed automatically to offwhite, is that right? Let me help you with that.

Please check and follow the steps provided on this link:

    https://www.intowindows.com/how-to-change-the-t...

Note: Please make sure that the Accent color was set to Manual so that Windows won't change the taskbar color automatically.

Please let me know the result. I'll be happy to assist you all the way until it's resolved.

    Thank you,

    Christine L

    Hi countrygirl31259,

Thanks for your response. To enable that option, please press Windows key + I to open the Settings app then select Personalization then Colors. Choose your mode dropdown and select Dark.

After that, you will see be able to turn on the "Show accent Color on Start and taskbar".

    Thank you,

    Christine
