I use AOL, and I accidently deleted a Draft email when I wanted to print it out by pressing the "Ctrl" and "p" at the same time. I have NO idea on how to recover this deleted Draft email.

I wrote an email/letter to my Nephew who doesn't have a computer. I wanted to print the draft out so I could send it to him through US Mail. I saved it to my "Draft" folder because I wasn't given a Print option when I finished the letter. I went to my draft folder and opened my draft. I did a "Select All" option and then pressed the "Ctrl" and "P" keys to print it out, but it disappeared from my "Draft" folder and didn't print. I have NO idea how to find and recover this important letter to my nephew.

BTW, I was using AOL when this happened.

Can you PLEASE help me?

Vance Warren

    Hello VanceWarren,

My name is Hanem, an independent advisor, and I'm here to help you.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you.

    Kindly follow the steps below:

Go to AOL .com. In the top right corner, click on the envelope icon to go to AOL Mail and then sign in to your AOL account.

Click on the Trash icon located on the left panel to open the Trash folder. Here you will see all of your emails that are deleted for less than seven (7) days.

Select the AOL emails you want to recover, click on the Action button above then in the pull-down menu, click on "Inbox" under the "Move To" group of commands.

Please let us know if the issue persists or if you need further assistance. Thank you!

Thank you for your response. If the steps above don't fix the issue and you already checked all the email folders that you have on your computer.

I would suggest contacting directly AOL, you can click this link https://help.aol.com/contact

    Hi Hanem,

Thank You for getting back to me. My letter wasn't in the Recycle Bin, and I'm guessing the reason for that is I didn't actually delete the letter, it disappeared when I selected both the "Ctrl" and "P" keys to hopefully print the letter out. IF I had actually deleted the letter then I'm sure it would have shown up in the Recycle Bin as you suggested.

I appreciate your comments on trying to help me solve my problem. IF you have any other ideas on how to find my important letter that just disappeared when I selected the Ctrl and P keys together, I would welcome them.

    Thanks Again,

    Vance Warren
