I recently upgraded my PC and been testing out some apps and games, and keep stumbling accross Blue Screen that says "Clock_Watchdog_Timeout". Its happening rather inconsistent, but its consistent enough that it only appears when i started to play games on it

Here are the minidump for the recent blue screen : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqZjj9ySJSSzl0xrDuEG16atBXyv?e=0drB9B

    Thanks for updating me, Firman,

The minidump file did not name any driver and only indicates a Windows component.

If your computer encounters another BSOD, install an older version of the graphics card driver. Sometimes, older versions work more smoothly rather than the latest ones.

If you are overclocking your PC, try running everything (CPU, GPU, system memory) at their stock speeds. See if the issue is still reproducible. Turn off XMP profile or set it to Auto.

If your computer still encounters BSOD, test the RAM with the free utility MemTest86, then run a full 8 pass scan to test your RAM for physical errors:

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need further assistance.

    Stay safe

    Hi Firman,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

The minidump file indicates dxgmms2.sys file as a cause of the BSOD which is related to the display driver.

Please, uninstall the display driver completely using this DDU free utility, then download/install the latest display driver or a driver that is compatible with your computer from the manufacturer's official website:

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.

Hi! Thank you for your reply. I followed your instruction to uninstall my current drive into a newer release. Tested on most of the app and games, seems to be working fine (still trying to finish testing on everything) but it seems i encounter another Clock_watchdog_timeout only on 1 game so far but nothing else. But i do hope you could give me another insight on how this one cause a blue screen so that i'll be able to avoid them in the future

Here are the new MiniDump caused by the game : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqZjj9ySJSSzl01BFrewW6Fub0DI?e=bN43Mv
