Screen Recording no audio

When I try screen recording (video) with the snipping tool, the video records, but there is no audio. I've tried several different input devices, the same result. However, when I use the windows sound recorder, each of these devices works and records the audio. The troubleshooter didn't find any problems. How do I troublshoot this problem?

I have also tried recording from the Game Bar with the same results. Video, but no audio.

    Yes, the current version of the tool does not support Sound. But Microsoft is actively considering it.

    Please ensure you upvote the relevant item in the Feedback hub to let Microsoft know(Win+F).

    I currently use Fluent screen recorder, a lightweight app from MIcrosoft Store for screen recording.

    The new snipping tool in Windows 11 does have audio recording ability, however, the audio is not included by default as shown in the below image (from the snipping tool settings page)...
