My pc constantly restarts trying to resolve a registry error and get past the blue screen. When the pc turns on I get the blue screen. Any fixes?

I've had a pre built pc primarily used for gaming which i have owned for 3 years now. I have never had a registry error before or any crashes.

However, on the same night i had a registry error as i tried to quit the game, which it resolved and started working normally again. However, i tried to quit the game again which crashed it again.

Now whenever i turn on my pc the blue screen saying "registry error" tries restarting my pc just to pop up with the same blue screen. I am unable to login as the pc is constantly restarting.

I have read that it can be because of anti-virus, of which i have two. But also from a faulty ram. My ram is 16GB DDR4 2666MHz Gaming Ram and i have run games like Valorant, GTA5 and fortnite with no system issues at all.

I have no clue how to fix this, would i need in person help or can I fix this by myself?

Hello! My name is Mostafa, and I’m an independent advisor and a long-time Microsoft user.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you with this so that you find a satisfactory solution.

Press F8 to access the Advanced Boot Options menu when the PC restarts, and select Safe Mode.

    1. Run System File Checker (SFC): SFC is a built-in tool that scans and repairs corrupt system files. To run it, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) and press Enter. This will take some time to complete.
    2. Remove third-party antivirus software: Having two antivirus programs installed on your computer can cause conflicts and lead to registry errors. Remove one of them
    3. Check for update Drivers and Windows

If the above steps did not help, try restoring it to a previous restore point.

Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > System Protection > System Restore.

I hope the above steps helped you. In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try my best to resolve your issue. Thank you.

    Best,

    Mostafa

I'm sorry for that; Please follow the steps below for the last time:

    1. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    2. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    3. On the first sign that Windows has started (for example, some devices show the manufacturer’s logo when restarting) hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    4. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    5. When Windows restarts, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.
    6. Press the power button again to turn on your device.
    7. Allow your device to restart into Automatic Repair, and select Advanced options to enter winRE.

Now that you are in winRE, you will follow these steps to take you to safe mode:

On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

If you are still unable to boot in a safe mood, you can take it to a repair centre.

    Best,

    Mostafa

Didn't work either haha. My pc just loads up the error message, and does not provide an opportunity to use windows+r, or it does not work. I might just take it to a repair centre and see if they can fix it, or do you think i can still repair this on my own?

    Hi thanks for the help.

However, the safe method method did not work. I have tried just f8 and shift f8 but everytime it restarts it just comes up with the same blue screen that I have attached.
