Why doesnt Windows 10 detect my USB phy 2.0 camera?

Hi Christine,

The issue started yesterday as i was trying Zoom. I have 2 lights on my camera, one for sound and one for picture. When i get my PC to detect the camera and try the camera app or zoom, the picture light will go on and off repeatedly causing loss of picture.

It may be something to do with my USB camera cable or the USB port on the PC, I hope not though.

May I know when did the issue start? Is there any changes made?

Have you tried to connect your USB camera to other computer and check if it will work?

Please follow the steps below:

1. Update or reinstall the Camera driver:

2. Please try to open the Camera app and let me know what is the error message that you will see.
