  1. 1st right click on touchpad is not working (nothing comes up).
  2. When i press windows key, it does not work.
  3. Similarly shortcut keys such as Ctrl Shift Esc does not work.
  4. When i press Alt Tab, it does not switch tabs but instead highlights different icons on the page, which is not a normal behaviour.

This will be the hardest parts as this will be trial and error. But you can start from disabling new software or programs that you have recently updated before this issue started. Once you have disabled those programs or software try to boot up normally see if the issue is fixed.

Thanks for the advice Jeremiah. I tried booting in Safe Mode and all the options are working i.e. right click, keyboard shortcut etc. How do i now identify the software that's causing this issue?

I also have similar problems, but mine is an asus. I think it is not a hardware issue as before it was windows 10, all keyboard functions are working and functional. Only after the update to win 11 the problem appeared.

Have you already tried this steps?

    1. Try updating the touchpad driver from the Acer support website or through Device Manager.
    2. Check if the Windows key is disabled or reassigned to another function. Go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and check the settings for the Windows key.
    3. Check if any third-party software is conflicting with the keyboard shortcuts. Try booting your laptop in Safe Mode and see if the shortcuts work.
    4. Reset the keyboard settings to default. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language > Keyboard and click on the "Restore defaults" button. If none of these solutions work, user may need to contact Acer customer support for further assistance or consider taking the laptop to a repair shop."

Hi. Jerry here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Just to verify are you using a laptop? And also are you using an external keyboard or the default keyboard of the laptop? Thanks
