Can't install drivers for HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw printer

Hi, I have a problem installing a driver on a Windows 11 system. The printer itself is on the local network, is visible to devices, and can be added, after which it appears in the list of devices, but without the ability to print and with information about the lack of drivers.

The situation is not isolated and is not tied to a specific device or brand. I have the latest updates on both the printer and the system. The manufacturer's site used all available ways to manually install the software, their setup assistant, complete installation packages, and bug fixes.

None of this helped. At the same time, on an older version-Windows 10 adding a printer goes without problems and there is no need to download anything extra to make it work.

Everything is fine in other OSes too. Windows 11 is officially supported by this model. Please advise how this situation can be resolved.

Maybe you can make a request to HP to connect their side too.

If possible will you remove this printer from the local network, and try to install it with the full driver package? For windows 11

On Windows 10 64bit, Hp released new printer firmware 002_2310A on 21st March 2023, updating firmware might solve the issues.

Driver - HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw | HP® Customer Support only Windows 10 64bit OS.

But much risk is there, in a few cases, while upgrading firmware, if printer power goes off means, the printer will not turn.

Installing the .inf package via Device Manager does not work, it throws an error. The package is the same, the path is correct.

HP Easy Start Printer Setup-finds the device, but cannot install the driver

HP print and scan doctor-useless program, finds printer and gives link to download driver, following it writes error, doesn't find such page

Universal driver is installed, but it can not be tied to the printer and its network path

I remind you that with Windows 10 you do not need to do anything at all, it is immediately added and prints normallyImage

You could download basic driver package, extract it, use inf file installing driver using device manager application.

    Download from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m428-m429-f-series/19202524/model/19204098

Also install universal print driver pcl5

Use HP print and scan doctor to diagnose print problems.

HP does not provide technical support for printers that are out of warranty and I cannot contact them directly.

In addition, this problem occurred after an upgrade to Windows 11, and it is possible that some components to support these drivers have changed on your end

Earlier you tried on Full driver package and then tried with basic driver package, so in this case contact HP printer support or technical person,
