Hello, I unplugged my headphones from my laptop to use for my phone, and when I plug them back into the laptop it stops working. I try different headphones and none of them work on the laptop. Similar problem I had before but it resolved itself automatically, it hasn't done it now for a week. Thanks.

Hi Kattenelvis, my name is John D. an independent advisor happy to help you with this.

First, let's check the headphone jack and make sure there's no dirt or debris in it. If that doesn't work, we can try restarting your laptop, checking the sound settings, updating audio drivers, or even doing a system restore to a previous point in time when your headphones were working properly.

However, if none of these steps work, it's possible there's a hardware issue with the headphone jack or the laptop's audio card.

I hope these suggestions are helpful, and please don't hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best regards,

    John D.
