Windows 11 Stopcode: 0xc000021a

I know this has been asked before but I have gone through the various questions and solution on this subject and have had no success. For my setup, I have 3 operating systems on 2 disks.

  1. Main Disk: 2TB nvme m.2 with Window 11 for personal use which was my first install
  2. Second Disk: 2TB nvme m.2 with:
    1. Windows 11 for work on 500GB partition
    2. Windows 10 for work on 500GB partition

I recently needed to troubleshoot and fix hardware issues that turned out to be CPU problem but I did change my mother board and ram as well.

Shortly after getting everything working, my Win11 install for personal use got 0xc000021a error. Only change made right before the error started was turning on xmp in bios. I have turned it off but problem persists. I can get into windows on the other 2 installations.

I went through all steps I could find on booting up in recovery and using command prompt to rebuild boot system. Unfortunately I run into problems trying to complete the various instruction sets.

bootrec /fixboot always has access denied even after following instructions on how to fix access denied. scanOS always comes up with 0 installations even after working through instructions to fix that.

Any ways to fix this issue when within another windows installation?

I see in this case, you can try following the steps

get into Safe Mode, you may be able to troubleshoot and fix the issue from there.

Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:

    dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

If the issue persists, you can try performing a system reset. This will reinstall Windows and remove all your personal files, settings, and apps

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue. Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Unfortunately, I have done this without success. There is only one restore point available. I had hope as it was just before the error but it failed to restore. Hangs up on a Dropbox file that it can restore and won’t let me go any further.
