I understand how important it is for you to resolve this issue, nothing to worry I will do my best to help you out. Battery-related issues can be caused due to an aging battery, an AC adapter not working correctly, and so on.
-Have you made any changes or updates before the issue?
-When did the issue start to happen?
-What is the build and version of your Windows? To check please press the Windows key and R on your keyboard then type winver and press enter.
-What is the make and model of your laptop?
In the meantime, you can try these steps:
Method 1: Restart Windows Explorer
Right-click on the Start menu and select Task Manager > under the Processes tab scroll all the way down and look for Windows Explorer then click Restart on the lower right.
Method 2: Reinstall the battery drivers.
Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager> Select the arrow next to Batteries to expand it > Right-click on the Microsoft AC and ACPI driver and select Uninstall.
Restart your laptop so that Windows can automatically reinstall the battery drivers.
