You need to try removing all power. So, pull the power plug and detach the battery as long as its detachable. Then let it sit for at least an hour. After that, attach the battery and plug it in and try turning it on.

The only other thing (unless I'm forgetting something) is to try to reset the BIOS by opening it up and clearing the CMOS.

Of course, some laptops might not work right should the battery fail. Stuff like this shouldn't happen as it should still work when plugged into the wall but there's a lot of manufacturers anymore and you never know lol. Some people have even seen laptops that won't power on with the battery in place but will without it. Weird things can happen.

If there's still nothing at that point, then it has a deeper physical issue and most probably will end in needing a repair or to buy a replacement computer.

The Evoo laptops can have 3 status lights and all three include green. Green for caps lock, green for fully charged with the power plug in use, and green for power on. Your use of green here needs clarification as to which it is...

However, the only time the green light might work out, is if it was the display not working, and you could use an HDMI, etc out to to another. This would be the green that its powered on and working. Combine that with a display that failed and you have this possible situation.

    Hope the best :)
