    Hi SenneOS,

The specifications for that laptop indicate it has a standard 0.3MP webcam, it does not have Infrared and so I am sorry, it does not support Windows Hello Facial Recognition.

    Hi SenneOS,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Windows 11 Hello Facial Recognition is more secure than most of the facial recognition technologies used on devices these days and it requires a webcam with Infrared capability

I can check that for you if your laptop has an Infrared webcam, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

First, check if you have the Windows Hello feature installed.

Open Settings and click on Apps, followed by Optional Features.

In the search box, type Windows Hello.

If it doesn't show up, then click on the View Features button and search for Windows Hello.

Install it and restart your computer.

If this doesn't work, try updating your camera drivers.

Open Settings and click on Windows Update.

Click Check for Updates and wait until it completes.

Then, click on Advanced Options and then, Optional Updates.

If any optional updates are available, install them.

Then, right-click on the start menu button and click on Run.

In the small "Run" dialog, type devmgmt.msc and press enter.

Make sure the Cameras driver exists there.

Right click on it and then click on Scan for hardware changes.

Wait for a few seconds and restart your computer.

You may also visit your computer manufacturer's support website and see if they have provided any updates for the camera driver.

If this doesn't work either, you probably don't have an IR camera.

Windows Hello Face recognition requires an IR camera.
