    Hi Sumit,

Well, after all my venting, I listened to someone and did the clean install/repair for my Asus AMD64 Windows 10 19045 ver. 22H2 system. A radical repair. tenforums suggested solution should take 3-4 tries before getting the override of User Accounts. It took over 15 tries for mine! And it is now working just fine. I will hold off on this one here, as I have a 1 year old Asus Inteli3 system with Windows 11 Home in S mode that I want to bring into full fledged Windows 11 Home operation. I got to say, this particular patch you described and they released was a long time coming. They do need to plan ahead a little better. Alot of customer grief could have been avoided. Have a great day...

Changing this registry value to 0 also works if you want to reinstall the security update.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome Value Name: DefaultBrowserSettingEnabledSetting the policy to False or 0 stops Google Chrome from ever checking if it's the default and turns user controls off for this option.
