My fingerprint login suddenly stopped working, how do I fix it?
I always used to sign in with my fingerprint, but one day it suddenly stopped working and was not shown as a sign in option. When I went to sign in options in settings, Fingerprint Recognition was, and still is labelled as 'This option is currently unavailable'. When expanded, Windows Hello says 'Something went wrong. Try again later'. I have done so multiple times but the message is always the same. I tried following the solutions from Microsoft Office Support:
- disable and re-enable the fingerprint scanner
- check for updates for the fingerprint scanner
- restart services
- manually download and install drivers for the fingerprint scanner, but all of these were to no avail.
How can I fix this? Any help is appreciated, and thank you in advance to any replies. I will provide any relevant needed information.

The first 2 I had already tried, but the second one, the only compatible hardware was apparently the one I am currently using, which does not work. I will attach the System Information as requested, an I hope this will help you. I am aware that not all info is displayed but I don't think that they are relevant. If this is not the case then just let me know and I will give you any other information.
