    Hi Boyukkhan,

This is Tamal trying to answer your question.

ASPM is Active State Power Management. When there is no traffic in the PCIE, but it enters low power state or completely powered down state. It is useful in battery operated devices to extend battery life and in other scenario less power consumption. If it is disabled, then the PC may draw more power than enabled condition, but you should not see any latency in the device connected as it takes a few moments to second from sleep state to woken up state. If the device connected over PCIE does not support low power/complete power down state or critical toward PC activity, then windows or BIOS disables power management. This should not be an issue.

You are right, USB do not suspend due to ASPM disabled. Not important.

If something disabled at BIOS windows cannot enable without accessing BIOS. Id advanced BIOS features are locked that is for better management of the device. I have read in hp forum pressing F10 at some point enables it, still I suggest leave it as it is. You can head to hp forums if you really need to unlock the BIOS features.

Thank you. so what is the usb (both slots) "does not switch to selective suspend" error? is it important? Is it related to ASPM auto shutdown?

And finally, one more question. How can I re-open the PCIe-ASPM, which the BIOS automatically turned off, with CMD? on command. I cannot access this setting because the BIOS Advanced feature is locked by my manufacturer (HP pavilion 15 eg000). and pcie aspm=force command doesn't work.

    Welcome.

Not a problem unless you are too much power conscious or concerned about battery life.

Okay. Thank you so much for reply.

    İs this not a problem?
