Hi Xhowd, I'm John D, and I am happy to help you with this.

I understand your frustration with the solid orange and yellow lights on your LAN port of your ASrock B550M-HDV motherboard. These lights typically indicate a connection issue between your motherboard and the network.

Before considering a clean OS reinstall, let's try a few troubleshooting steps. First, ensure that your LAN drivers are up-to-date. You can download the latest drivers from ASrock's website or use Windows Update to automatically update them.

If updating your drivers doesn't help, you can try resetting your network settings to their default values. To do this, open Command Prompt as an administrator and type "netsh winsock reset" followed by "netsh int ip reset" and hit enter.

If the issue persists, it's possible that your LAN port may be faulty, and it may require a replacement. I recommend contacting ASrock's support team for further assistance.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. I'm here to help.

    Best regards,

    John D.

    Hi Xhowd,

Thank you for updating me on the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. I'm sorry to hear that the clean OS reinstall and driver installation attempts didn't work for you.

Since you're experiencing difficulty with the driver installation process, it's possible that there may be an issue with the installation package or the controller on your motherboard. It's best to reach out to ASrock's support team for further assistance in this regard.

In terms of returning the motherboard under warranty, it's best to first check with the company you purchased it from, PCBYTE, to see if they have any specific return policies or procedures. If they don't, then you can contact ASrock's support team directly for warranty support.

I hope this helps you in resolving your issue.

    Best regards,

    John D.
