My microphone is not working. How do i fix this?

My microphone is not working, and the mic toggle hotkey on f4 does not seem to respond either (The Fn+ Q hotkey used to toggle battery modes also does not work. But every other buttons work just fine). I've tried troubleshooting yet it does not seem to be able to identify any problems. I've also tried several solutions i found on the internet yet none have worked out so far. The issue may or may not be related to the change from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

When i tried to use softwares or features that uses the microphone function, it keeps saying that it cannot detect any microphone. I tried using a mic test website and what it said was :
"Could not find a microphone, however there are other media devices (like speakers or webcams). Most likely, this means that your microphone is not working properly or your browser cannot access it. NotFoundError: Requested device not found; Object"

Is my microphone just broken physically or is there another issue i am not aware of?

Also please help with the Fn + Q not working if possible. I would prefer to be able to switch battery performance modes when necessary.
If further information is required for assistance, please let me know and i will inform whatever is necessary.
Thank you

Make sure apps have access to the microphone

If your microphone isn't detected after updating Windows 11, you may need to give your apps permission to use it. Here's how: Select Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone and make sure Microphone access is turned on.

Uninstall your audio driver and Restart

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Select the arrow next to Sound, video, and game controllers to expand it.

Right-click the listing for your sound card or audio device, select Uninstall device, select the Delete the driver software for this device check box, and then select Uninstall.

Uninstall all Audio drivers under Sound, video, and game controllers.

    Restart your PC.

Note: Be sure to save documents and any other current work before you restart.

After this restart, Windows will automatically reinstall your audio driver and your issue will be fixed.
