Windows 10: Map a network drive.

Hi Greg,
I read your reply on 'Map a network drive'. It is helpful, but my question, about mapping a network drive, is a little different.
Am helping a colleague map a network drive. Have granted Full Access to that colleague's account.
While browsing and selecting the drive, Windows asks for another colleague's credentials.
Please help me understand this unique condition. Also, how can I map my colleague's drive, without the credentials of another colleague?
Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm Microsoft user like you.

To view current network connection, type command net use

    C:> net use

Possibly that your other colleague may have login before or his credential may used by somebody so Windows will pop-up from cache.

Click Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager -> Select the Windows Credentials -> Try to find unwanted Credentials -> Click Remove.

    Best Regards,

    Prakash
