Locked out of administrative account

Hi,

I signed into our new workstation using my work/school account. After that I made a local account (without using an email address, just a username and password) and changed its type to administrative while changing my work/school account type to standard. After restarting the system I had no login option to sign into my local account, and now I am stuck with my work/school account which is not an administrative account anymore! How can I log into the local account? Or change the account type of my work/school account to administrative again? Thank you.

Best,

Nima

    Hello, how are you?

Check the procedures in the link below, it will probably help you to regain admin privileges on your Windows user.

After resuming administrator privileges you can try to fix this user problem.
