Hello everyone

Yesterday while I was playing on my PC my keyboard suddenly stopped working and the USB connection sound thing was constantly playing.

I did some research on the issue and tried some fixes that I could find but it didn't work

As you can see there are 2 keyboards even tho only one is connected via USB 3.0 and the USB Keyboard sometimes appears with a "Driver Error" message

I reinstalled Windows 11 thinking the drivers will be reinstalled properly which worked before I restarted my PC. After the restart, the issue was back and I dont know what to do

    Hello iRazviPlayz,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

Try manually removing the driver from device manager and letting windows update install it again.

    Here are the steps :

Make sure your device has internet connectivity

right click on start button and click on device manager.

    click on keyboards

then right click on your keyboard driver (if there are multiple remove every one of them)

    click on uninstall device

reboot your device and let the driver install again by opening device manager then right clicking on the device of which the driver was removed.

    Click on update driver.

Let the search complete and if it says the best driver is already installed choose the option to look for the driver in windows update.

When the windows update page opens click on check for updates and let the driver install from there.

    Hello Jaspreet!

I tried your method and it didn't work

When i uninstalled the device it reinstalled shortly after and there was no driver update in the windows update Page.

I did notice that the keyboard works for a short period of time (1-5 seconds) when I startup the PC and I hope that this information could help you find a solution

    Waiting for your response!

Hello, I am using an external keyboard for my laptop with the brand name Jartech, the problem is that it is now not working at all. Once I connect it to the laptop, It says "USB device not recognized". I navigated to the device settings and noticed a small label under the unrecognized USB stating "Driver error". I tried the keyboard on another Laptop device and it worked fine. Can you help me solve this problem?

Has the keyboard been tested on another system just to ensure no hardware level issue is present? If not please do so.
