Hello Watt Efird,
Good to see you in Microsoft Community.
If you thought your Windows computer has been hacked, I recommend that you change your account password:
- Local account: Reset your Windows local account password - Microsoft Support
- Microsoft account: Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password - Microsoft Support
- Just in case, I recommend that you create a new local administrator account as a backup account to avoid that all accounts cannot log in to the system, in which case you will have to reinstall the system cleanly. Please run Command Prompt as an administrator ("Win" logo key + "Q", type "cmd", select "Run as administrator"), and type the following commands one by one.
"UserName" is the new user account name, and "Password" is the password of the user, you can customize them.net user UserName Password /add net localgroup administrators UserName /add - If you have concerns about your system security, I recommend that you perform a system scan with Microsoft Safety Scanner to further confirm system security. Visit Microsoft Safety Scanner Download | Microsoft Learn****to download it and operate with the guide.
- How to run a scan
- Download this tool and open it.
- Select the type of scan that you want to run and start the scan.
- Review the scan results displayed on screen. For detailed detection results, view the log at %SYSTEMROOT%\debug\msert.log.
