Hello?
New Windows 11 PC - sites say I am using adblocker- I didn't install one?
As noted above, I just built an all new pc with Windows 11. Sites that I have never had issues with before are suddenly stopping me and saying that I am using an ad-blocker, and ask me to go to the ad blocker and clear their sites.
Here is an example:It
Looks like you are using an adblocker. We rely on advertising to help fund the content you love.

I use a number these sites to keep mentally sharp as I get older. I understand they use ads as their only means of funding available to them. I'm fine with that.
This is continuing to make me crazy constantly seeing these messages appear. I never installed an adblocker, and cannot find one on the conmputer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Windows Build/Version
Windows 11 Version 22H2
I am using Webroot but it is the same exact version as exists on my previous pc where this never took place. The problem occurs on both Edge, and Chrome.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

2023-05-04T20:29:39+00:00 Hello Ivan, and thank you very much for your assistance.
I started following your instructions by going to an Edge browser screen. I went to the upper right corner and clicked on "settings and more" and then selected
"settings". Privacy, search and services" was the only available equivalent to what you had listed " "Privacy & Security and Site Setings". And so, I selected that. It offered a lot of settings related to "tracking" and "security" but nothing about ad blockers?
Likewise, in a Chrome browser screen, I also attempted to follow your instructions. I went to the upper right corner and selected "privacy and security". Again, there was no exact equivalent of "More Content and Ad Settings', but, the closest I could locate was "Site Settings". Now, in Site Settings, ther was a place where you could add sites to allow "pop ups and redirects". Is that what I should be doing as opposed to looking for somethign specifically named "Ad Blockers"?

Okay, first check the Chrome and Edge browser extensions, see if you have any ad blocker extensions, then disable the Chrome/Edge Blocker itself
- In the upper right corner, click More More and Settings.
- Click Privacy & Security and Site Settings.
- Click More Content & Ad Settings.
Turn off Block Ads.
I must remember that depending on the sites you are accessing, some ads have invasive content.
