How do I fix my laptop keyboard not working on windows 11?

This is a really dumb reply.

I have the same issue September 2023.

Your second instruction says type “…..”

If I don’t have a keyboard working, how am I to type anything?????

My name is Vitor. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

Assuming you've already tested it with external keyboards and they worked, possibly the problem is physical. But first, do the procedure below to check if it could be a driver problem.

Reinstall keyboard Driver:

1. Press Windows + R keys to open Run.
2. Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
3. Expand the Display Keyboard.
4. Right-click on the target Keyboard and select Uninstall device.
5. Restart your computer and let Windows install the driver automatically.

NOTE: If when expanding the keyboard options the notebook keyboard does not appear, go to the manufacturer's website and in the driver options, check the latest driver for the keyboard. If it doesn't work, take it to a service center.

Hi Vitor,

This issue is one that will not go away. No matter how many times i reinstall the keyboard drivers, my laptop keyboard is dead. Currently using an external keyboard on bluetooth.

I can occasionally get my laptop keyboard to work, however, if my laptop restarts, or just falls asleep, the keyboard fails.

Do you have alternative solutions or has Windows 11 permanently wrecked my expensive laptop.

Didn't work I'm not sure what's the problem at this point.

PS for some reason Microsoft used an account that I don't really use anymore I will use this from now
