My hotspot is not working on my laptop

There needs to be more on this thread.. and more plausible answers instead of the most basic common sense answers there is. If this is “helpful” than hell, let me join as an IT because I could offer a lot more information. Regardless, as spectrum is down right now and I’m trying to use my hotspot, and it worked at first for the first hour, than stopped loading literally anything on any website, whilst still claiming “connected, secured” I went through my properties on my WiFi card, changed the frequency from 5ghz to 2.4, messing with netsh (or whatever it is in the cmd terminal) nothing, literally nothing seems to work. Even the basic steps you’d do at first, that you listed for this person. Even going through my phones hotspot settings, resetting my network stuff on my phone, and still not working. I just simply don’t understand why it isn’t. Unless it’s something within windows that just disallows hotspots during the most urgent times of need. In which, it seems that’s the case. As it’ll connect, get all the details AND PROPER IP from my hotspot, it just won’t load jack for ****. Especially after working flawlessly till near the end of my episode I was watching where it began to buffer, than never load again. Nor load any webpage, any photo, and not connect to any type of services that run in the background. I can provide more details, and even go into further detail about everything. But this should simply be, more than enough for you guys to understand me, and formulate some type of resolution. As, macOS, and Linux literally doesn’t have an issue with these. (As far as I have tested)

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Network reset on your laptop, and select Reset now. This will reset your network settings, including any saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords.

Go to Device Manager on your laptop, locate your network adapter, right-click on it, and select Update driver.

Restart both your laptop and mobile device, and ensure your mobile hotspot works by connecting another device to your mobile hotspot.

How do I update anything if I can't connect to the internet?

Up until last night my laptop was working on my mobile hotspot but today morning suddenly it's not loading anything. It says connected and has internet access but nothing is loading. However my friend's hotspot is working perfectly on my laptop.

I currently have issues while connecting to any network on laptop 😞..How do I get that fixed??
