How to Install net framework 1.1. in Windows 10 64-bit one of my older software is asking

One of my very old software when I wanted to use, its plugin showed a window that I needed Net Framework 1.1. refer screen shot.

Question: Is it possible to install the Net Framework version 1.1 or any other suggestion please?

Any help in this regard will be appreciated. Thank you

    Hi Ari94,

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    .Net Framework 3.5 contains the code base of .net 2.0 and 1.1

    Open the old Control Panel, then at the top set View to icons

    Open Programs and Features, then click 'Turn Windows Features on or off'

    Form there, you can install .Net Framework 3.5

    Then restart your PC to apply the change.

    If that does not get that software working, the developer needs to upgrade their code.

    Hi Ari94,

    Try moving that installer to another folder like your Desktop and run it as administrator from there.

    Hi Ari94,

    If you have successfully installed .Net 3,5 and that software still does not work, you will need to contact the software developer, they will need to re-compile the software for a later version of the .Net Framework, Microsoft blocks some older versions of .Net due to security concerns.

    Thank you for the screenshot, they seem to have removed the installer, for .Net Framework 3.5, you can download the installer from this link.

    I followed your guide lines and stuck.
