Error 0x8007232B: Unable to Activate Windows - Need Assistance

Hello everyone,

I'm currently facing an activation issue with Windows, and I'm seeking some guidance to resolve it. Whenever I try to activate Windows using the 'slmgr.vbs /ato' command, I receive the error message 'Error: 0x8007232B Name does not exist.' I've already checked my internet connection, DNS settings, and attempted flushing the DNS cache, but the problem persists.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to troubleshoot this activation issue. Has anyone encountered this error before and found a solution? Is there a specific step or workaround that I might be missing?

I appreciate any advice or insights you can provide to help me overcome this activation error. Thank you for your assistance!

You are using a Volume license which focused on companies with large numbers of computers and usually is used on domestic computers to activate a nongenuine version of Windows. If you don't remember to purchase a Windows license, you might be using a nongenuine version of Windows and this is why you are seeing this error and are not able to activate Windows.

You can see more information on how to purchase a Windows license at this link.

    Hi, H4yz,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Please provide some more information to help to identify what is causing the problem. Did you reinstall Windows or did you change your hardware? Which type of license do you have OEM(came preinstalled to your computer) or Retail( you purchased separately)?

Also, attach a screenshot of the error message from the activation troubleshooter.

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on System, scroll down, and click on Activation

    3-Then click on troubleshoot

And a screenshot of the status of your activation.

1-Right-Click on Start then click on Windows PowerShell(admin)

2-Paste this command and press Enter:

    slmgr /dlv

3-Then a pop-up window will open with your license information

I did not reinstall Windows or install new hardware. My PC was built by me and some friends and my friend had a USB with Windows on it. I'm not exactly sure what license I have.

Here is the state of my Windows currently:
