- If nothing else works you can install OneDrive to iPhone and set it as default Camera Roll save location so that pictures are immediately sync'd to your PC via OneDrive where you can manage them without constant problems with USB import.

- If that doesn't work then you can similarly use iCloud installed to PC to sync your files including Pictures:
