Hi Rohullah,

00001009 en-CA: Canadian French keyboard
00000429 fa-IR: Persian keyboard
0000048c fa-AF: Persian (Standard) keyboard

You can select the keyboards you don't want and just delete them. After deleting, restart your computer.

If you accidentally delete the wrong one, just add it again in the settings.

Your Sincerely

    Dear Hahn,
Thank you for time and good cooperation. I have found three preloads there with different code which is different from the codes you have provided. I don't know which one should I delete?

    Hi Rohullah,

You can try the following methods to remove the redundant input methods:

    1. Tap Windows+R and type Regedit to open the Registry editor
    2. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout

Right-click on Keyboard Layout and select New DWORD Value

Then right-click the new value and press Rename to IgnoreRemoteKeyboardLayout, double-click to open it, and change the value to 1

    1. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layouts

Right-click on Keyboard Layouts and select New DWORD Value

Then right-click the new value and press Rename to IgnoreRemoteKeyboardLayout, double-click to open it, and change the value to 1

    Then restart your computer.

    Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Preload

Delete the extra content on the right side.

    Do not delete "Default".

    Do not delete 00000409-US English

Do not delete 00000429 - Farsi

    Hi Hahn,
Thank you for your reply. However, I could not solve the problem. I have just two languages on the preferred languages: English US and Persian, but there is 4 on the Taskbar, English US, English Canada, Dari and Persian.

    Hi Rohullah,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

If you're unable to remove certain languages from your keyboard settings and you're experiencing automatic language changes in some applications.

All languages should be able to be deleted except for the language you put first, which cannot be deleted.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can help resolve minor software glitches. Try restarting your computer and check if the issue persists afterward.
    2. Update your operating system and applications: Make sure that your operating system and applications are up to date. Software updates often include bug fixes and improvements that could address the language-related issues you're facing.

I hope this helps you solve your problem. If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Your Sincerely
