Can you find out what device bluetooth headphones are connecting to?

I use a set of Soundcore earbuds to listen to YouTube vids on my PC via a USB connector & normally YT will be the only thing I connect to. So it's quite a shock when I put the buds in & hear them playing my music. BUT neither ITunes nor WMP are open,. Most of my music comes via Amazon, but I checked it as well & it wasn't running the Music app. I've checked my phone and tablet etc (which aren't paired) and hunted all over Firefox etc as well as checking running processes in Task Manager but still can't locate the actual source.

Is there any other way to find the answer?

Hi there! I hope you are well. My name is, Zadee. I'll try my best to help you today.

Perhaps there is another instance of your desktop and a browser is opened within that instance. To check can your press Windows + Tab? If you do see other desktops, close them.

Also, please check your system tray on the lower right and see if there are music apps or browsers, like chrome hiding there.

Ahh that's interesting PD - didn't know that at all. I think I've only ever used them with the computer & love them for the sound quality etc. But I'll connect to the phone & use the app to get them updated as they're a couple of years old now. I've 3 other earbuds but I can't get them to stay in my ears as I've quite tiny canals & often struggle on that front - again, the Soundcore are the only ones that do the job albeit barely sometimes but better than any others. I don't watch YT on anything other than the PC as I like to be able to see things more clearly :)

    But thanks for that info.

Our Soundcore earbuds were designed to be used with the app, which is also how they get firmware updates.

Earbuds are not optimized for PC hardware. They were designed to be used with mobile phones. They can work with PC hardware, but good results are not guaranteed.

Thanks Zadee - did all that at the time but still couldn't locate anything media related at all. And I'm fairly PC savvy so know roughly where all to look for such items. Since it's an intermittent thing I'll wait until it happens again & come back to you then as a bit hard to test when it's not happening.

Do you have the Soundcore app? You can get it in Google Play or the Apple App Store. If will tell you what the buds are connected to.
