Hi

Hi,

I am having trouble with a BSOD error related to PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

This is a new PC that I have recently built

Gigabyte b450m ds3h
AMD Ryzen 3600
Corsair vengence 32gb ram
Nvidia 1080TI GPU

My dump files are located here.

https://files.catbox.moe/vvf8qn.zip

Would someone be able to take a look at them for me?

i tried a quick google of ntkrnlmp.exe and AV_X_(null)_nt!MiSystemFault, looks like it could be a GPU driver issue? Am I on the right track?

I have had some issues with google chrome random crashes as well.

I am not very experienced in the information shown by the v2 log collector. I usually check the Windows log directly or the dump files.

But from the information you sent, it really points to the Nvidia driver.

I've had cases where the system always indicated problems with the Nvidia driver. Even after updating the driver, the problems persisted.

But when updating the BIOS and Chipset, the problems stopped occurring.

So let's see how the system will behave from now on.

So my friend has installed the chipset drivers and nvidia driver has been fine since.

I was able to have him send me over the v2 log collector files and pulled this from pnp file:

Was this all pointing to a nvidia driver error?

Be sure to install the BIOS update as well. In many cases, BSOD issues are resolved by updating the BIOS.

If, before disabling XMP, you prefer to update BIOS and Chipset drivers and then check if the system will work stable, no problem.
