I can't say that was a helpful reply as I can't connect.
Win10 update breaks my networking
I updated two nights ago and it has since caused my PCI networking to die.
I have exhausted every tip and trick online from running cmd to enter 7 or so commands then restart, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, changing the cable, and lastly, contacting my ISP (as I have no access to the modem used due to my living circumstances).
When I troubleshoot the problem it tells me that the networking needed to be reset. I allow it to automatically restart but still no avail.
Oddly enough I can see that stuff is being sent back and forth through the PCI properties.
I have even taken the extraordinary step of reinstalling the OS yet here we are still.
I am convinced that this is a hardware related issue caused by the latest Windows 10 update. I have attempted doing a rollback but wasn't successful either.
Any direction to solving this issue would be appreciated.

2023-05-17T08:37:02+00:00 Hello,
My name is Hanem, an independent advisor, and I'm here to help you.
I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you.
Have you tried reinstalling the older driver? I recommend installing an older version of your PCI Driver, please let me know what exactly the brand of your motherboard or laptop is.
If that did not work.
Method 2:
I would suggest you to run the Network adapter troubleshooter and check if it helps.
- Click on Search bar next to Start Menu.
- Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and Click on Troubleshooting.
- Click on View All on the left panel of the screen.
- Then click on Network Adapter.
- Then click on Next and follow the instructions.
If the issue still persists, refer to the below method.
You can also reset the network if you haven't tried to,
- Go to settings.
- network and internet
- advanced network settings
- Network reset.
I hope this helps, feel free to contact me for any further questions.

2023-05-17T10:56:36+00:00 Hi,
Thanks for sharing that. Upon checking here that this is an Asus, all you need to do is to contact the Asus team so they can download and install the older driver from your computer, that should lead you to the resolution as it works from the older one, here is the link for Asus team: https://www.asus.com/us/support/
Feel free to reach us back if you need help.

Hi dynametre32,
Maybe try updating to Windows 11, or if possible, contact Microsoft. Here's a link to their website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus#!
I hope that helps you, if not, please let me know.
Kind Regards,
