Whenever I have a "what is the best software for ..." question, I go online and read professional reviews (not "hey YouTube!") This allows me to narrow down my choices.

Then I go to each developer's website and learn what I can from the developer, and if they offer a free trial I always take advantage of it.

This enables me to decide what software is best for me, which could be very different from the software that's best for you.

Actually WIndows has its own backup and restore app, formerly Windows Backup, that should be able to take "bare metal" backups of the systems. The recovery process happens in the Windows PE (Win PE disk, Windows installation media...) under advanced options.

    Hi JULIOINGE,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

If you are referring to backing up your data and files, Windows has its own backup tool which is very good and reliable:

Another way to backup your data is to backup them manually by transferring them to OneDrive (Syncing) or to an external hard disk:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/back...

If you are referring to backing up the whole operating system including installed apps and software, unfortunately, Microsoft does not have any apps and tools, however, you can use Macruim Reflect which is free, good and reliable to back up the whole operating system.

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.

I use SyncBack (a free product, but be careful I've been using an older version and don't update so I can't speak to how good or bad they are today) to copy my documents to an external storage device.

I use OneDrive to provide an additional layer of backup to the "cloud".
