My network adapter is not working properly or sometimes goes missing

I have been having issues with my laptop for months now regarding my wifi connection. My network adapter suddenly stopped working in February and since then I have not been able to use my laptop properly. Troubleshooting doesn't work and I can't find a solution online. I have tried to find an alternative driver but I can't find anything. I believe that the driver I originally have installed in my laptop is made for windows 10, but I automatically updated to Windows 11 at some point and can't revert back. I am all out of options.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    I suggest you reinstall the Wi-Fi driver as instructed below.

    Before starting the procedure, go to the support area of your laptop manufacturer's website and download the latest Wi-Fi driver.

    (If you cannot find it, let me know the manufacturer and model of your computer)

    Uninstall the current driver:

    1. Open "Device Manager" (Windows + X and select Device Manager);
    2. Expand "Network adapters";
    3. Right-click on the Wi-Fi adapter and select "Uninstall device";

    (It may have more than one adapter, if you don't identify the correct one, send a screenshot "Windows + Shift + S")

    1. On the confirmation screen, check "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" and click "Ok";
    2. Restart the PC.

    Install the driver you downloaded from the manufacturer.

    After doing this, see if the mentioned issue is resolved.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.

    Hey David, thanks for answering!

    I just installed some new Windows Updates and had to restart my Laptop. Once again, the driver has seemingly disappeared and I don't even have the icon that shows me if a router is near me to connect to. The manufacturer is Lenovo and the Model is V15-ADA Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 82C7

    Unfortunately I can't find a download on their website regarding a driver for my network issues. The driver that is supposed to be installed is called Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A. Maybe you can find something regarding this? I'll be patiently waiting for your reply if you don't mind helping me further.

    Hello again David,

    unfortunately the driver you sent me doesn't seem to be installing properly. I can't even find it once the system tells me that the installation was ''successful''.

    After troubleshooting again, I got the following message:

    Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, the drivers for the adapter may not be installed correctly.

Now I don't really know where to go from here. I'll attach a screenshot showing the drivers that I can see in my network adapters folder in the device manager. https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/b7a97c3d-4ac4-4f11-b121-01fc65713f04?platform=QnA"https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/b7a97c3d-4ac4-4f11-b121-01fc65713f04?platform=QnA" rel="ugc nofollow">
