    Hi, Amy 23.

My name is Merlina, I am an Independent Advisor and a user like yourself. I'll do my best to help you.

I'm sorry to know that you're having an issue with your Scanner after a power outage.

Have you already tried updating the driver directly from the Printer manufacturer's website?

    1. Run the Printer Troubleshooter

To run the troubleshooter, open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Here, you will find the Printer troubleshooter among the list of Windows troubleshooters. Click on the Run button next to it to activate it.

    1. Check the scanner connection

Make sure the scanner is properly connected to your computer and that the USB cable is securely plugged in. Try unplugging and re-plugging the USB cable to see if this resolves the issue.

    1. Reset the scanner

Turn off the scanner and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug the scanner back in and turn it on. This will reset the scanner and may resolve the issue.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Thank you!
