C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\nvidiacorp.nvidiacontrolpanel_8.1.964.0_x64__56jybvy8sckqj\nvcplui.exe

The parameter is incorrect

When i go look for the file the whole WindowsApps folder is missing as well. I have already tried uninstalling the control panel and installing it again, i have tried restarting the pc, i have tried running the app as an administrator, i have tried this command in PowerShell to check something about the WindowsApps folder:

Get-AppxPackage -allusers | foreach {Add-AppxPackage -register "$($_.InstallLocation)\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode}

I don't know what to do anymore, please help.

All of this happened just now when i tried resetting my pc because it was as bit slow. I managed to go into the app once, and change my framerate to 120 Hz even though i have a 144 Hz monitor (the option simply was not there).

Also even though i reset the pc all of my downloaded files where still there for some reason?

Please help...

    Hello! My name is Cristiano. I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you.

    One possible solution you could try is to completely uninstall the NVIDIA graphics driver and then reinstall it from scratch. Here are the steps you can follow:

    >> Press the Windows key + X on your keyboard and select "Device Manager" from the list of options.

    >> In the Device Manager window, expand the "Display adapters" category to reveal your NVIDIA graphics card.

    >> Right-click on your NVIDIA graphics card and select "Uninstall device". Check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device" and then click "Uninstall".

    >> Once the driver has been uninstalled, restart your PC.

    >> Go to the NVIDIA website and download the latest version of the graphics driver for your card.

    >> Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the driver.

    >> Once the driver has been installed, try opening the NVIDIA Control Panel again to see if the issue has been resolved.

    If this doesn't work, there may be a more serious issue with your PC that requires further troubleshooting. In that case, I would recommend reaching out to a professional technician or the manufacturer of your PC or graphics card for assistance.

    I had this problem with most Windows Apps. It started after I used a junction link (mklink /j) for the "Roaming" folder (%AppData%). I wanted to keep all my settings in case of a Windows reinstall. I disabled this junction and the programs worked just fine. You can also create a new user (instead of Windows reset).
