I’m online, but YouTube keeps saying you’re offline. Can anyone suggest me how to fix it?

When I open YouTube app they show you are offline but I am online. While other apps are working fine.

    When I open YouTube app they show you are offline but I am online. While other apps are working fine.

    I find that YouTube is using another method for those of us who use ad blockers. I get the same message. All I do is copy the URL and open a new Incognito window and paste the URL . And then the same video opens like its supposed to.

    You might try going to your browser settings, find the privacy and security group, locate the cookies and manage the data, then clear only the cookies for any yahoo.com entries. I found that they can cause this exact problem and clearing them allows the site to work properly. If you see the youtube web page taking a long time in attempting to load, this resolves that also.

    my issue is not with yahoo, it is with Firefox

    This isn't helpful- I am online so there's no issue with connectivity. Youtube is telling there's no connection.
