My bluetooth keyboard can't connect

Hi,

I have a microsoft bluetooth keyboard tha tI'm used to use on 2 different laptops. every time I want to pass from a computer to another I need to restart the bluetooth connection by pressing the pair button on the back of the keyboard.

today, I tried to connect my bluetooth keyboard on my Windows 11 laptop, like I do every time, and it doesn't work

I don't see the pairing message actually, and it seems because the keyboard doesn't enter the pairing mode, the light doesn't flash as usual

I alreday try the below:

  • turn off the bluetooth
  • restart my computer
  • remove the keyboard from the bluetooth devices amd start again to pair it

I still see it on old devices, and when I press the pair button, the status changed for sec from "Paired" to "connected" but only for second

Any idea what I can do to connect it back ?

many thanks

    Hi Esther

I am Amr, I will help you with this.

    Try these methods

    1. Uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth driver

    Press Windows Key + X

Select Device Manager from the list.

When Device Manager opens, find your keyboard, right-click it, and press Uninstall.

Windows will ask you to confirm that you wish to uninstall the driver.

    Click on Uninstall.

After confirming and uninstalling your keyboard driver, restart your computer.

    1. Update drivers automatically

    Run hardware and Device troubleshooter

Press Windows Key + S, enter troubleshoot and choose Troubleshoot from the menu.

Select Hardware and devices from the list and click Run the troubleshooter button.

Follow the instructions to complete the troubleshooting.
